Day 15 – TIU love your body series

πŸŽ€ Good evening everybody! πŸŽ€

πŸŽ€Today ALMOST became a disaster since I didn’t follow the plan. No waking up at 6 AM happened. Noooope. I slept until 7:20 like a baby.

(There could be worst disasters, I know)

πŸŽ€ HOWEVER, instead of sulking in the deception of my failed morning πŸ‘‰ I owned it!

πŸŽ€TIP: Own your failures AS WELL as you successes.

(Of course some failures are harder to swallow than a failed wake up call, but you know what I mean! )

πŸ‘‰ I walked my daughter to school and I was extremely #grateful for the NON – 30°© weather.

πŸ‘‰ Mental health wise: Actively trying to be grateful instead of negative.

So this is how it goes: when you’re thinking that the person driving ahead of you is a f** mor**, SWITCH IT UP.

πŸ‘‰Instead, practice the art of smiling (lightly, perhaps the way you would imagine a serial killers passive aggressive smirk – YES that’s the one! You got me!), and repeat: “No I don’t want to murder him”

(HERE: try unclenching your teeth, ever so slightly, so you could hear more than a mumble coming out of your mouth..)


(There you go!)

BAM! You did it!!

That’s all there is to it. This practice makes you FEEL 100 X better. I SWEAR! I do it myself ALMOST all the time. (The other times I’m thinking about what the fastest and easiest ways are to dispose of…).


πŸŽ€ OK. So I got carried away there. *Earth back to Emily* (yes. That is my name. You think my parents called me Miss Bow? Now YOU’RE the weirdo!)

πŸŽ€ Let’s get down to the real purpose of this blog post.


πŸŽ€M1: three Berry sweet mini muffins from the tone it up nutrition plan:

πŸŽ€M2: Berry Sweet Smoothie Bowl topped with blueberries, strawberries, Chia seeds and coconut flakes.

That’s my cat! His name is Casper ❀️

πŸŽ€M3: Overnight oats that were meal prepped for this week. With flax seeds…I can’t remember what it’s called. But it’s also in the nutrition plan! It was DELISH.

πŸŽ€M4: I had some kielbasa (key-a-ew-bassa – polish sausage) AND cucumbers with hummus.

πŸŽ€M5: quinoa, chicken and salad (basic, yummy goodness)


πŸŽ€ Today I joined a new challenge and then challenged other girls to do it with me: the tone it up push up challenge. It’s basically 7 minutes of different types of pushups to do once or twice a week. VERY worth it. I hope to see an improvement on that front soon!

πŸŽ€ Daily moves: they were different from the moves in the studio tone it up app today, so very worth doing! I did do them.

πŸŽ€ Studio tone it up app: there were two videos for today. The first was a yoga flow routine with Karena Dawn, and then a meditation with her as well. I love her Monday morning meditations! They are becoming a habit for my Mondays that I crave!
